I’m Lisa McDonald, founder of McDonald Search, LLC. My path to becoming a recruiter started after a long career in sales. Prior to becoming a recruiter, I sold information services to R&D organizations for over 10 years. It was fascinating work, but as the internet matured and people started turning to the Web for their information needs, the time had come to try something new and recruiting felt like a natural fit. I was very fortunate to have been hired by an extremely successful executive search firm in the technology market that taught me the ropes. Within two years I became an Associate Partner and remained a top biller in the firm for the next 10+ years. I am very grateful for such a rewarding career and also to have worked with such great people! This experience, coupled with my entrepreneurial spirit, is what ultimately led me to start McDonald Search, LLC. I am thrilled to continue my dual mission of helping high growth technology companies build successful teams, as well as assisting those who seek exciting new chapters in their careers!
